About this worksheet
The 6 times table is the 3 times table doubled. When 6 multiplies an even number, the answer ends in that number: 6 × 4 = 24, 6 × 8 = 48.
Build from 5s: 6 × 7 is 5 × 7 plus one more 7, so 35 + 7 = 42. The 6, 7, and 8 tables are usually the last to become automatic.

Questions
- Is there a pattern in the 6 times table?
- Yes. Six times an even number ends in the same digit: 6 × 2 = 12, 6 × 4 = 24, 6 × 6 = 36, 6 × 8 = 48.
- Why are the 6 times table problems in random order?
- In order, children can skip count to each answer. Mixed order checks that each fact is actually remembered.
- Are these 6 times table worksheets free?
- Yes. The sample sheet on this page, with its answer key, is a free PDF in US Letter or A4, no account needed. Generating and previewing new problems is free too; printing and downloading custom sheets come with Pro, which also removes the preview watermark.
