About this worksheet
Twelve is a 1 followed by a 2. Write the straight 1 from top to baseline, then start the 2 just below the top line, curve over to the right, slant down to the bottom left, and finish with a flat line along the baseline. Keep the 2 close to the 1 and the same height.
Twelve is a dozen, which gives an easy real-world link: eggs in a carton or months in a year. Watch the 2 for reversals, which still show up inside two-digit numbers. The irregular spelling “twelve” is worth tracing slowly, especially the “lve” ending.
